Privacy Policy
Your tasks belong to you. MimiTask has no system for sending your tasks or records to a server run by the developer.
1. Information used by the app
MimiTask handles the task names, notes, times, repeat settings, and other options you enter, along with completion and archive records. It also stores registered earphone details, alarm and notification reservation records, and an activity log needed to operate the app. The activity log retains up to 800 entries from the most recent 30 days on the device.
2. Storage and iCloud
Tasks and records are stored on your iPhone. When iCloud is available, they are also stored and synced in your personal iCloud using Apple’s Private CloudKit. By default, the developer cannot view the contents of your private database.
Registered earphone details, alarm and notification reservation records, and the activity log remain on that device. iCloud availability and sync depend on your device and connection.
3. Alerts and lock screen
MimiTask uses iPhone alarms and local notifications to alert you at the time you choose. You can manage notification permission on your iPhone. You can choose whether a task’s contents appear on the lock screen in the app’s settings. Contents are hidden by default.
4. Developer collection and tracking
The app does not use its own account system or a developer-operated data collection server. It has no advertising, in-app usage analytics, or behavioral tracking. Task and record contents are not automatically sent from the app to the developer.
Apple processes the payment for a Pro purchase. MimiTask (the developer) does not receive your payment details. Whether you have purchased Pro is checked through Apple’s own system.
5. Viewing and deleting information
You can delete tasks on the home screen, and completion and archive records in the archive (the archive is a Pro feature; on the free plan, only the latest completion is kept, and the next completion replaces it). When iCloud is in use, what you delete in the app is also deleted from iCloud. It may take time for the change to reach your other devices.
Deleting the app does not delete the tasks and records saved in iCloud; they come back if you reinstall with the same Apple Account. To delete the iCloud copy as well, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Storage (or Manage Account Storage); if MimiTask appears in the list, you can delete its data there. Item names may vary by iOS version.
Alarm and notification reservation records, registered earphone details, and the activity log are stored only on that device and are not sent to iCloud. Activity log entries older than 30 days are removed automatically, and deleting the app also removes this on-device information.
6. This website and support email
This website is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site. We have not added advertising or analytics code to this website.
If you email support, we use the email address and message you send only as needed to respond and investigate the issue. We keep support emails only for as long as needed for that purpose. Your in-app tasks and records are not automatically attached to your email.
